***. Assisted by the Be Like Mike current winner Trisha Le Blanc, Chef Mike presented a cooking demonstration featuring three sumptuous dishes — Maine lobster corn dog dipped with whole grain aioli, chicken arugula ginger lumpia salad, and jumbo prawn with crusted pistachio chicken breast.

*Master chefs who have graced the kitchen laboratories of the Philippines include Chef Susina Jooste of South Africa; Chef Hubertus Cramer of Germany; Chef Micheal Caffrey of London; and celebrity Chef Toba Garrett of New York.
**Chef Mike,born of Chinese parents in Manila, spent his childhood in the Philippines before immigrating to the US. He is the executive chef and food director of Caesar Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. In 2009, he was elected president of the prestigious American Culinary Federation.
***ACF is the only body in the US that grants certification to culinary schools worldwide. AHA Philippines has the distinction of being granted a 5-year certification not normally given to schools outside of the US.
